During the summer, I basically only want to eat big bowls of fruit or large platters of tomatoes. This fruit salad topped with lime, salt, and Piment d'Ville is our ode to Tajín and mango on a hot day.
3 cups cubed watermelon
1½ cups cubed pineapple
2 cups cubed papaya and/or mango
1 cup cubed jicama
Lime, zest and juice
4 teaspoons turbinado sugar (or brown sugar)
¼ teaspoon Piment d’Ville
Combine all fruit in a large, shallow serving bowl.
Sprinkle sugar, lime zest, and lime juice over fruit and toss gently to combine.
Sprinkle Piment d’Ville and flaky salt over top. Serve immediately.
